I tend to think of photography, my medium of choice, as a way of capturing a single moment of perception, my perception, for all of perpetuity. A moment, however, is to be distinguished from an instant, the time of physics, which is a a frozen moment, a moment that no longer lives. The difference is in duration, a photo should not only document its subject, but it should present a subject with a life, without concrete borders, with a horizon.
I hope that you find this in my gallery. Little moments left unrecognized, everyday moments seen in a different light, a moment of a life.
I think of myself as having a good eye for these things, but lacking in the technical skill to realize my vision on film. So feel free to provide technical advice or tips as they will be most welcome.
